Montfort​ Angels

This program allows Montfort patients and their family to express their gratitude to the staff members who provide exemplary care by making a donation in their honour.

Montfort Angels are people who distinguish themselves by their compassionate gestures, comforting words or profound caring. The Montfort Foundation delivers the honours to the Montfort Angels by awarding them a certificate in the presence of their colleagues and by highlighting them in the Journal Montfort—the monthly employee newsletter.

Anne Robert

Responsable d’une équipe de deux médecins spécialisés et de bénévoles, son rôle consiste à soutenir l’équipe affectée au service de soins palliatifs, d’être près des personnes atteintes d’une maladie terminale, d’accompagner les proches, de développer des politiques et initiatives reliées à la qualité des soins pour les personnes en fin de vie et finalement, elle prépare la relève en offrant de la formation aux intervenants et étudiants.

Anne est passionnée par son travail, car son rôle lui permet d’agir comme un rouage important dans les opérations de l’Hôpital. Pour elle, la confiance que les équipes lui accordent est la meilleure marque de reconnaissance qui soit; c’est un sentiment qui lui donne l’énergie de poursuivre son travail, jour après jour, depuis maintenant presque 12 ans !

Cette épinglette, qu’elle porte fièrement et qui la désigne comme un Ange de Montfort, elle l’a reçue trois fois depuis la création de ce programme de reconnaissance. Pour elle, cette troisième nomination a autant de valeur et d’importance que la première, car elles sont toutes attribuées par des personnes différentes qui ont été touchées par ses services de manière unique. Pour Anne Roberts, d’apprendre qu’on la reconnaît de cette manière est toujours étonnant puisqu’elle ne voit pas ses services comme étant unique, car ils s’insèrent dans un contexte d’équipe où le rôle de chacun est important et complémentaire. C’est grâce à son équipe si son service a été reconnu.

Anges Montfort - Marc-André Sabourin - 2023

De stagiaire à l’Hôpital Montfort en 2003, à gestionnaire clinique en 2023 ! Cela témoigne de l’engagement et de la dévotion de Marc-André Sabourin envers le bien-être des patients et de la communauté. Son rôle est de s’assurer que le patient est au bon endroit avec les bonnes ressources. C’est encore une fois, ses compétences techniques qui lui permettent de fournir un service exemplaire aux patients avec cœur et par une empathie légendaire.

Sur le plan individuel, Marc-André Sabourin possède déjà trois nominations comme Ange de Montfort et cinq autres en équipe avec le Service de santé cardiovasculaire et pulmonaire. Marc-André a aidé les patients à surmonter des journées difficiles et n’a pas manqué d’imagination pour apporter un sourire sur leurs visages.

Marc-André a été témoin de l’ouverture de la clinique réadaptation cardiaque et pulmonaire avec l’équipe interprofessionnelle en 2012. Ce n’est pas tout ! Son attitude positive et contagieuse jumelée à son optimisme fait de lui un gestionnaire très apprécié par les membres de l’équipe de soins ambulatoires et de planification pour le Carrefour santé Aline-Chrétien à Orléans. Félicitations pour cet accomplissement remarquable et pour tout ce que vous avez réalisé jusqu’à présent.

Anne Robert

Responsible for a team of two specialized physicians and volunteers, her role consists of supporting the team assigned to the palliative care service, being close to people suffering from a terminal illness, accompanying their loved ones, developing policies and initiatives related to the quality of care for people at the end of life and finally, she prepares the next generation by providing training to caregivers and students.

Anne is passionate about her work, as her role allows her to act as an important part in the operations of the Hospital. For her, the trust that the team places in her is the best sign of recognition; it is a feeling that gives her the energy to continue her work, day after day, for almost 12 years now!

She has received this pin three times since the creation of this recognition program and she proudly wears it as it designates her as a Montfort Angel. This third nomination is as valuable and important as the first, as they are all awarded by different people who have been touched by her service in unique ways. For Anne Roberts, to be celebrated in this way is always amazing as she does not see her services as unique, but as part of a team where everyone’s role is important and complementary. It is because of her team that her service has been celebrated.

Anges Montfort - Marc-André Sabourin - 2023

From intern at Hôpital Montfort in 2003, to clinical manager in 2023! This is a testament to Marc-André Sabourin’s commitment and devotion to the well-being of patients and the community. His role is to ensure that the patient is in the right place with the proper resources. Once again, it is his technical skills that allow him to provide exemplary service to patients with heart and legendary empathy.

On an individual level, Marc-André Sabourin already has three nominations as a Montfort Angel and five more as a team member with the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Health Services. Marc-Andre has helped patients through difficult days and has not lacked imagination to bring a smile to their faces.

Marc-André witnessed the opening of the cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation clinic with the interprofessional team in 2012. But that’s not all! His positive and contagious attitude combined with his optimism makes him a manager who is greatly appreciated by the members of the ambulatory care and planning team for the Carrefour santé Aline-Chrétien in Orléans.
