Celebrate International Volunteer Day with the Montfort Angels

Every December 5, International Volunteer Day gives us the opportunity to recognize and appreciate the invaluable dedication of individuals who devote their time, skills and passion in helping others. This special day celebrates the selfless act of giving that creates a profound impact in our communities. At the heart of this celebration, the Montfort Angels program stands out as a symbol of recognition for the dedicated employees and volunteers of Montfort and Aline-Chrétien Health Hub-Orléans.

The volunteer’s commitment is often compared to the greatest gift one can give. It’s a precious contribution that goes beyond the tangible to bring comfort, hope and invaluable support to those who need it most. At the Montfort Foundation, this recognition is a well-deserved tribute to the unwavering commitment of people like Louise Bourgault, a loyal volunteer, and Jean Cardonnal Bonnet, a patient and beneficiary care attendant.

Ms. Bourgault’s boundless commitment and passion for community service are an inspiration to us all. Her continuous presence and dedication have significantly marked the lives of those she has helped. Likewise, Jean Cardonnal Bonnet’s exemplary involvement as a care attendant demonstrates the importance of his dedicated work and compassion in creating a caring environment for patients.

With over 200 volunteers, Montfort benefits from a collective force of dedicated individuals, collaborating every day with hospital staff to improve the quality of services offered to patients. Their dedication adds immeasurable value to the services offered by Montfort and Aline-Chrétien Health Hub-Orléans. Their impact transcends mere acts to touch the hearts and minds of those they serve.

On International Volunteer Day, let’s take the time to celebrate and thank all those who offer their time, energy and love to make a difference in the lives of others. Their generosity and dedication embody the true spirit of giving, making our world a better place for all.
