Baked goods that improve patient care

As part of a school project, four Grade 7 students at École secondaire publique Gisèle-Lalonde in Orléans chose to carry out a fundraising campaign.

Anne-Sophie Jetté, Hibaq Mohamed, Haïfa Zemni and Maïssa Zemni, joined forces to organize a bake sale to raise funds to improve the quality of life of patients at Montfort.

In addition to raising $70 at the bake sale, they doubled their donation by purchasing fourteen Tim Hortons gift cards. These cards will be offered to partner-patients at Montfort, a group of volunteer patients who, through their commitment, enable informed decision-making for the continuous improvement of patient care.

Despite their age, these four young ladies distinguished themselves not only by their team spirit, but also by their philanthropic spirit.

We are very grateful to these students, who care about the well-being of others and, through their actions and generosity, are an inspiration to our entire community.

On behalf of all patients and partner-patients who will benefit from your generous donation—thank you!
