A successful culinary experience for the Montfort Foundation

On September 27 and 28, chefs De Silva and Ponnappa hosted the third in a series of charity dinner “Dine for a cause’’, an exquisite culinary experience in a delightful musical atmosphere, in support of the Montfort Foundation.

The guests took part in a gastronomic experience, discovering typical Sri Lankan and Coorg dishes.  A menu that honored both nationalities featured dishes whose flavors were omnipresent. Jazz music was the perfect ambiance for both evenings, with musicians Peter Woods and Kyle Jordan mesmerizing the guests with their melodies.

The event was also attended by Christiane Huneault, a member of the Montfort Foundation’s Board of Directors, as well as Marc Villeneuve and Francis Carpentier members of the Foundation’s permanent team.

The dining room was at full capacity with a warm and inviting atmosphere for the two gastronomic evenings. These fundraising dinners enabled Wingell Hospitality Group to donate $1,675 to the Montfort Foundation.
